Time flies, or so they say. Funny how it drags so when things are sad or slow. This time of year though, temperatures rise, lives get hectic and it all speeds up. I see my plants growing, making their flowers, tomatoes yadda; you have to pick them or they are gone. Same with friends; they are leaving the country or the area, and I really want o see them before they go. The seeds of friendship have been planted, and we have to water them with coffee and who knows what flowers or fruits will come. For sure, friendship is like gardening, you get back what you put in. It's like all things, as NN always said. So, sweet peas, we shall have coffee etc!

Annuals and perennials perhaps!

Unlike gardening, true friends do not need watering. After being left in the desert for weeks, months or even years, they remain friends. Prospective friends are a different matter. They need talking to and listening to, but above all time must be well spent with them.
